CMPS 1104 – PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
Course Purpose
To equip students with the information and knowledge needed for an understanding of Public Procurement Operations and Management in Kenya.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course unit, the student should be able to:
1. Highlight the bodies involved in regulation of public procurement;
2. Identify the contents of general public procurement rules and explain alternative procurement procedures;
3. Discuss internal organization of public entities relating to procurement; and
4. Discuss the role, composition and functions of Administrative Review Board and tender committees.
