COURSE DESCRIPTION

Algebra Review; Algebraic expressions, linear, simultaneous and quadratic equations.  Sets; Types, mappings, relations and functions. Differential Calculus: Derivatives; Polynomial functions, Trigonometric and exponential functions. Integral Calculus; Integration Rules, Application of calculus to Kinematics, Tangents to curves and Optimization. Statistics: Collecting organizing data, finding patterns in data using charts and tables, making sense of data using measures of central tendency and measures of spread, measures of shapes/distributions. Index numbers and their applications.
